Children’s Homes and Schools in Uganda.

Strengthening Families and Communities Through the Love and Actions of Jesus

Here at KFM we believe that family is important. The cycle of poverty pulls families apart, leaving children to fend for themselves and mothers and fathers to leave to find work. Children are chased away from school because of a lack of school fees and without work locally parents cannot afford the fees.

KFM is working to stop the cycle of poverty and strengthen family through school bursaries, small loans, and adult education.

About Us

A little bit about what we do.

Children's Homes

Many children find themselves without a home, often through forced evictions or abandonment. KFM have built a 3 bed family home to provide children with a safe and warm place to grow. In time, we hope to replicate our current home, providing more space and family for vulnerable children.

KFM Child Sponsorship Programme

From Initial Success to Wider Access

We are thrilled to share that we have successfully completed the initial trial of our child sponsorship programme. This milestone marks a significant achievement in our ongoing commitment to providing better opportunities and support for children in Wobulenzi, UG.

A Successful Beginning

The trial phase of our child sponsorship programme was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and participation. Families and children benefited from the support provided, which included educational resources, healthcare access, and opportunities for personal development. The positive impact on the lives of the children is evident, as we saw improvements in their academic performance, health, and overall well-being.

Looking Ahead

Building on the success of the trial phase, we are excited to now be working towards making the child sponsorship programme available to everyone through our website. This expansion will allow more individuals and organizations to participate and contribute to the well-being of children in need.

Website Integration

Our team is diligently working on integrating the programme into our website to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for potential sponsors. The website will provide detailed information about the programme, including profiles of children in need, sponsorship options, and personal progress updates.

Ensuring Transparency

We understand the importance of transparency in charitable endeavors. Our website will feature regular updates on the progress of sponsored children, including their academic achievements, health status, and personal growth. Sponsors will have access to this information to see the direct impact of their contributions.

Schools

We have been working with Ceaser, Head Master of Donella Orange Primary School to give children an opportunity to attend school through our bursary programme. Our vision at KFM is to grow the programme to accommodate 50 – 100 children from the local community by 2028

Entreperneurial Projects

At KFM we currently provide work through agriculture and brick making. We have a vision to provide loans to local families to help them establish their own projects.
